Defining Personal Information

Personal information is defined under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) as any information that can be used to distinguish, identify, or contact a specific individual. This includes, but is not limited to, National Identification Numbers (NIN), Bank Verification Numbers (BVN), matriculation details, and contact information.

Information Collected via this Portal

We do not automatically gather personal information while you visit our site. The only information collected is what you voluntarily supply yourself when you apply for a stipend, sign up for training, or contact our support desk.

We use software that records the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of computers to provide statistical measures of usage, but we do not use these addresses to identify individuals unless required for security audits

Disclosure to Third Parties

Like other official organizations, we may share certain administrative data with external partners (such as the Central Bank of Nigeria or partner commercial banks) to facilitate credit card processing and stipend disbursements.

Information may be made available to appropriate authorities without permission only if used to take action during an emergency that threatens life or security, or to prevent a breach of the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Updating Your Information

We make every reasonable effort to keep information accurate. Corrections to legal names or bank details can be forwarded to the Privacy Officer. Complaints or inquiries regarding your data will be acknowledged and are within 30 day
